After a successful political campaign and elections results that declared El rufai winner of the Gubernatorial seat of the Kaduna State Government elections two weeks ago. the man and the chief architects behind that success,Markus Ishaya was assassinated at him home yesterday by Two unknown Gun men.

According to eye witness reports, this was not a robbery case or incidence, as the two men who attacked Markus Ishaya waited till he finally gave up the ghost before they disappeared from the scene.
Kaduna chapter of APC has condemned the killing and says the killing of
Markus Ishaya had brought to 10 the numbers of APC members that had been
killed before, during and after the election. The Governor-elect has
also condemned the killing and urged the police to fish out his killers
and bring them to book.
