Chelsea Striker Deigo Costa has been charged by the FA for an alleged act of violent conduct

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been charged by the football Association for “an alleged act of violent conduct” throughout the Blues’ win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The 26-year-old was involved during a spat with Gunners defender Gabriel, that saw the defender sent off for kicking out at the Spain international.

Costa continued his physical approach and was maybe lucky to stay on the pitch following additional clashes with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Laurent Koscielny.

However, he currently faces retrospective penalty for his dustup with Koscielny, that saw him strike the center-back within the face, and has till 6pm on September twenty two to reply.

Arsenal defender Gabriel – who was sent off for kicking out at Costa – has conjointly been charged with improper conduct, whereas team-mate Santi Cazorla has been warned following his red card.

Both clubs are charged for failing to manage their players under fa rule E20 and, along side Gabriel, should reply to the charge by 6pm on Thursday September twenty four.
