Her Journey to become only the 6th player in history to record grand slams calendar began on the 5th of September has she swept aside Mattek Sands from the United States of America 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 coming from a set down to win the game, next up was Madison Keys who upset her last year, but this time around she gave her no room by beating in 2 sets, 6-3, 6-3 to move on to the quarter final round.
At the quarter final round she played against her own Elder Sister, Venus Williams, it was tight game and has usual she came out on top winning 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 to advance to the Semi- finals were for the first time since the start of the tournament she is playing against an Italian, all this while she played against the best female tennis players from her own country the United States of America.
The game started well for her, winning the first set 6-2 and that was breathing confidence, mean while her new found love, Canadian rapper Drake was in the crowd to cheer her up and his song “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” was also been played which i think was when things began to take a left turn for her.
Has the second set began, the Italian Roberta Vinci began to find her rhythm in the game and out of no where when no one saw it coming she took the second set by storm 4-6 and to cap a beautiful night off she repeated the same feat in the third set with a winning volley and it was all game, set and match for her to end the career, the hopes of millions of americans who had been hoping for this glorious moment to come, shattered to pieces by the 32 years old unseeded Roberta Vinci.

She beat the world no 1, 6-2, 4-6, 4-6 to advance to the finals where she would be playing against her Italian counterpart 26th-seeded compatriot Flavia Pennetta — who upset Romania’s second-ranked Simona Halep 6-1, 6-3 — in the first all-Italian Grand Slam women’s final in the Open Era.
Now the question is how did this mighty, legendary acclaimed female tennis player fall to an unseeded opponent.
here are some facts to that:
First of all in as many years has i have watched her play, she has never had much time for fun during grand slam matches, but this time it was different and the difference was Drake, the Canadian rapper was all over her. it was reported all over the news, internet and also on social media that she had dinner dates with drake and were all over each other kissing and smooching in public.
Secondly- then also came along Kim Kardashian, both were seen hanging out a day before her big game against her sister Venus Williams.
Sex– to cap it all off, reports also has it that she and drake had been having marathon sex while the competition was still on. According to MTO, a British tabloid said Drake is the one to blame for Serena losing at the U.S Open to a virtually unknown player named Roberta Vinci. And it has to do with sex, plenty of it.
The magazine claimed that Serena and Drake were having ‘too much sex’ and that Serena was ‘weakened’ from all the ‘off the court’ exercise that she was doing.
A person close to the tennis star is quoted as saying:
Serena was exhausted from all the nightly s ex sessions with Drake that went on for hours, sapping all her energy. Yeah, right! Lol
Meanwhile someone close to Serena told Hollywood Life that Serena isn’t blaming Drake for her loss.
She doesn’t blame Drake but would have rather him not have shown up till the finals

Her coach summed it all up by saying,”Every loss is difficult,” Mouratoglou said.
I think she lost her way mentally. Tactically she didn’t know what to do. When you make the wrong choices, you lose the points you’re supposed to win and then you make more and more wrong choices. She lost her way on the path tactically.
In conclusion if you lose your way mentally something has got to be responsible for that, and right now the only answer to that was having sex with drake while competing to make history.
History is not an often call to action, its a once in a life time opportunity and she blew it on the bed of Sex, something that could wait while history was a thing of the moment, something that requires now and not a tomorrow thing.
Whatever is worth doing is what doing well and giving the discipline it requires to achieve it.
For me its a good morning to you all across the world hope you learned a lesson from her defeat.
