The Epic Photo was taken 37 years before NIgeria gained Independence, October First 1960.
From the photo above, one could see men looking like slaves standing at the back of their most probably slave master who happens to be Whites and they were seated on a Bench.

More Also one can notice the level of racism in such that only the men who were black in complexion without shirts on were the ones the merry christmas were displayed on their chest region uses a White Chalk Board.
