The 34-year-old Tennis Player took another Step closer for her seventh  Australian Open title and getting her 22nd career grand slam title, as she Brushed Aside Maria Sharapova for the 18th time in a row and for  12 years now she has never lost against her.

She defeated the 5th seeded 6-4,6-1 in a game that  only lasted for about one hour and 32 minutes.

Serena Williams during her post match Conference said :”It was super intense,” said Williams. “She’s an incredibly intense and focused player who was world number one.

“When you’re playing someone so great you have to come out with a lot of fire and intensity.”

Maria Sharapova was also Effusive about Williams, she said:”She’s at a different level. She makes you work. That’s inspiring.”

Serena Williams would be playing against 4th Seeded Agnieszka Radwanska, who had earlier dismissed Spanish 10th seed Carla Suarez Navarro 6-1 6-3 to reach her second Melbourne semi-final in three years.
