The Chief Justice in Charge of CCT, Justice Danladi Umar has officialy ordered the Embattled Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bukola Saraki to Hence Face a day to day CCT trial until a final Judgment is Delivered on his 13-count Criminal Charges filed against him after he falsified declaration of his Assets.

“Let me state it here for both the prosecution and the defence that the trial of the defendant shall proceed on a day-to-day basis till the conclusion of this matter and it will begin from 10 AM to 6 PM,” he said.
He also added that the court would go on break at 1 PM and 4 PM on each day of the trial.
This development is following the move by the Senate to amend the Code of Conduct Bureau and Code of Conduct Tribunal Act.
