FG,labor Leader and Trade Union Officails to meet in Abuja today over planned strike action against increased pump price




As officially announced by the Labor Union Last week that there were going on strike this week in regards to the increase in PMS petroleum product due to the removal of subsidy from the petroleum sector which had eaten up the Countries economy for many year brought about by corruption, fraud exhibited by criminal and fraudulent marketers.

   The federal government, The Leaders of the Labor Congress and Trade union would be meeting today May 16th 2016 in Abuja to discuss on the Planned Strike action stipulated by the NLC.

The Labor leader last weekend gave the FG till Midnight of tomorrow to revert back to the old pump price or prepare to welcome the labor strike the following morning.

     The meeting will be held at the office of the secretary to the government of the federation in Abuja  by 10 am.

Participant expected at the meeting include  Minister of Labor Chris Ngige, leaders of NLC, TUC, Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, and their Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN counterpart.
