Serena two weeks ago after her win in Italy said:

I have tried to defend there once, twice, three times before, Williams said of the Paris Grand Slam.

It didn’t quite work so well. But this year is different. I’m going to definitely go in there and I feel more calm and I don’t feel stress to have to win.

I feel like I just am happy to be out here.

We all hoping she can go all the way, other results from the tournaments  see roger, Nadal, Murray and the likes all progressing to the round two with no shoking results.

Meanwhile in the ladies category we have already seen two upsets so far as world no 2 and currently  2016 Aussie Open Winner Angelique Kerber suffered a first round defeat and exit from the tournament, more also the same thing happened to world 5th Seeded Victoria Azarenka who also  happens to be the winner of the Indian Wells 2016.

The Likes of Russian Maria Sharapova who is currently missing in action as a result of failing a drug test and currently under investigation.
