She went further to explained  that she also lost partly because of the Pressure to win her 22 Grand Slam title, which would tie her up with Tennis Female Legend Steffi Graf and also Putting her 2 more Shy of the Current Highest Holder of Grand Slam in History.

After I won the first set I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m a maximum 3 sets away from history,’ ” she says. “And I definitely felt a little nervous there, but ultimately it came down to I didn’t play right I didn’t do the right things, I wasn’t aggressive.

I wasn’t Serena Williams physically out there and I didn’t play the match that I needed to play in order to win. I tried and you can see I gave the best that I could.

But that loss isn’t going to stop her from storming in for a win at Wimbledon in July.

I feel more than ready,” Williams says. “It feels weird, like I just feel super strong and I feel super confident and I don’t think I felt that confidence that I needed to feel, like I had it but I wasn’t feeling it from inside from my chest. So I really just feel super confident.

Something came over me and I became peaceful and calm. And I’m sitting next to Anna Wintour right now, and I just told her, I wish Wimbledon was tomorrow, I’m so ready to play.
