The Selancao boys of Brazil had finally turned on their style as they win Gold at the Rio Olympics beating the German machines on penalty 5-4 after Neymar converted the decisive spot kick.

The Barcelona talisman fired his country to victory on Saturday, netting the opener via a glorious free-kick before striking the decisive penalty in the ensuing shootout.

Brazil beat Germany 5-4 on penalties to clinch the Gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, after the game finished 1-1 in extra time.


Barcelona ace Neymar opened the scoring in the first half with a well-taken free-kick, but Max Meyer was able to equalize.


Neither side were able to break the deadlock as the game went on into extra-time, with the clash proceeding to be decided via penalty shootout.



And it came down to Neymar to net the winning spot kick, after Nils Petersen had his saved by Weverton.
