The World No 1 and Top Seeded in Women Tennis At the Rio Olympics 2016 made short work of her Opponent as she won her round one Game in just 91 minutes, Serena Defeated Daria Gavrilova of Australia, 6-4, 6-2, on Center Court at the Olympic Tennis Center.

The 34-year-old had to battle through the Heavy and Cold winds condition on the Center court ,but that was never a Stumbling block for her as both players seemed Tentative in the First Set which also had some long amazing Rallies.


Serena has won gold  both in singles and Doubles in the last 16 years of the Olympic Tennis Tournament: in 2000, 2008 and 2012.

Her Sister Venus Williams Meanwhile Crashed out of the Competition this Year for the First time in career and the U.S Team has officially Confirmed she had been sick with a Virus and was even coughing all the way to the Rio.

The Duo Sister would also again eventually loss out in the first round of the Doubles last Night in Rio as Lucie Safarova and Barbora Strycova of the Czech Republic beat them in straight Set.
