Barcelona ‘sign’ Lucas Lima from Santos as free Agent The Spanish giants have completed the move for Brazilian ace Lucas Lima.

– The Santos playmaker is expected to arrive at Camp Nou in December 2017 Barcelona have reportedly completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Lucas Lima as they make him their first signing of the summer.



This is Barca’s first major signing under new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde following the departure of former boss Luis Enrique.

Sources revealed that Neymar’s father is Lima’s agent as he persuaded Valverde to make the player a top target at the Catalan club.


Barcelona have also been heavily linked with a move for Arsenal star Hector Bellerin.

According to Fox, it was Neymar that pleaded with new boss Ernesto Valverde to make the 26-year-old a target a Barca player.


Lima also used to date Neymar’s beloved sister Rafaella, who is now dating Inter Milan ace Gabriel Barbosa.

Barca and Brazil forward superstar Neymar’s father is also Lima’s representative in the deal.

Valverde’s side have only tied up a permanent deal to bring Marlon to Barcelona on a permanent basis so far this summer.


And with club legend Andres Iniesta now 33 years old, the club want back-up so that they can keep the 2010 World Cup winner fresh.

Barca finished three points behind Real Madrid in last season’s La Liga standings and were knocked out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage by Juventus.

The club have also been linked with moves for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and Marco Verratti with Valverde setting out on a task to overhaul their faltering defence.
