ITF bans Brazilian doubles player for three years

LONDON (AP) — The International Tennis Federation has banned a Brazilian doubles player for three years and nine months for using an .

The ITF says Americo Lanzoni tested positive for norandrosterone at a Challenger circuit event in Sao Paulo in April last year.

Lanzoni will be 31 when the ban expires in March 2020.

His highest doubles ranking was No. 1552 and he never held a singles ranking, according to his profile page on the ITF website.
