Fans wonder if the former Disney darling admits she has a secret crush on the ‘Find You’ hitmaker on the sexy track.

Is there a potential romance between Demi Lovato and her longtime pal Nick Jonas? The songstress just released her new album “Tell Me You Love Me” a few days ago, and fans are now speculating if a sexy song titled “Ruin the Friendship” off the effort was inspired by Nick.

The song features some suspicious lines, including, “Your body’s looking good tonight/ I’m thinking we should cross the line/ Let’s ruin the friendship, let’s ruin the friendship/ Do all the things on our minds/ What’s taking us all this time/ Let’s ruin the friendship.”

Demi and Nick have been best friends since they met when filming “Camp Rock” in 2008. They have even been touring together over the years. So it comes as no surprise that fans wonder if Demi admits she has a crush on Nick and wants to be more than just a friend to him on the song.

A Twitter user writes, “Ruin the friendship is definitely about nick,it just makes sense. Best friends for 10+ years so there’s history and they def have chemistry.” Another notes that the song “opens with a line about cigar and guitar,” two of the things that Nick has always been passionate about.

In a recent interview with Noisey, Demi revealed that the song was indeed inspired by someone close to her. “I was frustrated with a certain situation. And I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to write about it.’ And so I did, and sent [the songs] to that person, and that was interesting.”

She further hinted that the person has mutual feelings for her, saying, “Any time you send a song about the person, to the person–it’s ballsy. It’s like, ‘Hey! Here’s my feelings for you!’ They knew [about my feelings], but neither of us had acknowledged [them] before. And then it turned out that person had written a song about me, and we exchanged songs. That person was like, ‘That’s an incredible song.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, welll.’ It’s like, ‘Hel-lo!’ ”

Additionally, in another interview, the “Heart Attack” singer admitted that she was nervous to release one particular song off her new album because she suspected people would know who it is about. “Sometimes you put out music that you just feel like everyone is going to know who it’s about,” she told MTV. “Headlines are going to come out of it, and it’s like, when you write a song, you’re just being vulnerable, and you’re just writing about something that’s inspiring you, so all the baggage that comes with it is what I’m kind of nervous about.”
