The art finds Camila rocking floral outfits while opening her legs, looking straight at the camera. “To my Camilizers… My debut album is finally finished, now I’m trying to steady my heartbeat!!” she captioned it. “All of these songs have special memories behind them, and I’m not going lie. It feels emotional letting them go, feels like the end of a chapter…”
She then revealed that she decided to change the album title to “Camila” as she thought that the album marked the end of a chapter in her life. “I decided to call it by my name, because this is where this chapter in my life ended,” she continued. “It started with somebody else’s story. It ended with me finding my way back to myself.”
Camila concluded her post by announcing that the effort would be available for pre-order on Thursday, December 7. The album itself is due out on January 12. “My album is gonna be available for pre-order this Thursday,” she wrote, adding a butterfly emoji. “And I’m putting out two instant grat tracks with it… One is called ‘Never Be the Same’ and one is called ‘Real Friends’. It’s in your hands January 12.”
