Linda Ikeji dragged on Twitter over controversial post

Popular mediapreneur, Linda Ikeji is currently being trolled on Twitter over a controversial post she published on her blog.

According to reports, the expectant mother published a story of a gay Nigerian poet who allegedly opened up about his suicide attempt and overdosed on a dug;”Aspirin”

It was gathered that in a bid to gain more traffic on her blog, she took the post from his personal facebook page where he penned down his thoughts, and published it along side his name and location.

Twitter users have come after Linda who is one of the A-list bloggers in Nigeria, for her insensitivity on the already escalated matter which could inadvertently cause the poet his life

A closer look at the post would reveal that she allowed and approved the comments of social media users beneath the post to enable the cyber bullying of the victim

While some Twitter uses are worried as to the reaction of the gay poet who already had suicidal thoughts before this sad occurrence, others are saying he might be attacked by an angry mob over his sexuality, however, irrespective of what the case might be, chances of the security of the victim remains slim especially as he is in a country such as Nigeria where people have zero tolerance for lesbians or homosexuals

Upon reports of Linda Ikeji being dragged, her fans have taken to note that though they love her, it appears she went a little over the line. Meanwhile, her non-fans have moved to call her unprintable names

As at the time of this report, the blogger is yet to react to any of the trolls dragging her on the internet.
