Dishing out some words of wisdom, actress. Funke Akindele has advised Nigerians not to be deceived by what they see on social media.
She emphasized in the fact that all that ‘all that glitters is not gold’. She took to her Instastories to dish out words of advice to social media users who use the platform to show off designer bags and shoes that are more expensive than what they can afford.
”It’s not by force to buy designer bags and shoes, if you can’t afford them buy cheaper brands.” She said.
The actress further cautioned people not to compete with other people and get carried away by what they see on social media as there are different strokes for different people .
“Remember that all that glitter isn’t gold” She emphasized. “Take a step at a time and you will surely get there.”
