Jam City Live will carry out the 3rd Edition of the Lead City Jam City Festival of Music and Culture, from November 9th – 11th 2018, in collaboration with the prestigious Lead City University, Ibadan and Lead City Fashion and Lifestyle Academy.
The Jam City Live Program has over the years provided platforms for various young talented individuals. The program has enabled them to find their interests in various fields of expertise while learning by practice in order hone their crafts in the various industries and skills as they venture into.
However, over the years, the Lead City Jam City Festival of Music and Culture has been the ultimate platform for all the various participants of the program to showcase their talents to a widespread audience within a 3-day period of varieties of events, programs and opportunities.
The first and second editions of the Lead City Jam City Festival of Music and Culture happened in 2015 and 2016, after which there was a one year break in 2017. The one Year break has allowed the Jam City Live team to evolve in order to create an improved festival with new, fun, educating, urban and creative concepts for 2018, that will further progress our communities and the nation as a whole
Maintaining the 3-day Festival format, the highly anticipated Lead City Jam City Festival of Music and Culture, 2018, will be a major platform for hot prospects to shine. The Festival activities are designed to attract the target audience (youths in LCU, UI, other institutions and Locals) and once again emphasize the message; DON’T DO DRUGS to every youth.
The Fest will feature new events; Friday Night Spice (FNS Variety Specials), Movie Screening, Paintball Tournaments, GameCon, Project Exhibitions by students of the Fashion and Lifestyle Academy, More.
Our original Festival events will be upped. Some of the events include; Jam City Live Cypher, Bonfire, RunwayFest, Community Service, Jam City Playoffs, ShowBiz101 (Show Business Seminar), CITYconValley (I.T, Tech & Gadgets Convention), Concerts, Fairs and many more side attractions to spice up the Festival.
This year’s concert is tagged; Smade Memorial Concert, in remembrance of Daniel Ilesanmi, a student of LCU, who died in a car crash on June 10th, 2018.
