Are you a Virgin?
Often times when two people begin to like each other, this question pops up. Young people, especially girls take pride in the fact that they are virgins, or are furious that they didn’t wait for that special night to lose their virginity. These people based the success or the failure of their relationship with their partners on their sexual purity.
People fail to realize that, sex is not the key to a successful relationship; and if sex is not, then virginity isn’t either. Virginity doesn’t breed good morals, character, ambitions and other qualities that a person require in a partner. A virgin is not synonymous with a good person or the right one. Many “Experienced”couples have lived for many years and are still enjoying a beautiful marriage life while many “Virgin” couples’marriages didn’t live till a year.
It’s not a crime to be virgin or wait till that special night, but build who you are, don’t let your virginity be the cake, let it be the icing on the cake. As a lady, when a man look at you, don’t let only your curves, or your butts or your busts be the only things that attracts him, let him see some sterling qualities in you that will keep him at your side even though you don’t give him your body. Many girls complain that guys abandon them because they refuse to give these guys sex; though some men are sex freaks but some times, these men feel that there is nothing some of these girls can offer them. Some of these girls who are so called virgins lack beauty of the heart, they are ill-mannered, lack morals, dirty and not worthy to be with, these are huge turns off and many guys will run away even if these girls are virgins.
Sex is not priority or a necessity, it shouldn’t be the basis to judge the intimacy between you and your partner. So far, sex is not the center of your relationship, virginity won’t be an issue. Whether you decide to keep it or lose it, you and your partner will enjoy your relationship once you both understand the role of sex in your relationship.
Some people want to wait till that special night to give up their virginity while others are waiting for the right one, to lose it to, while some of them have lost it, just know this, your commitment not your sexual status can guarantee a successful relationship.
