Why you should be mindful of your expenditures in the coming festive period
Today is the last day in the month of November – which in reality is the end of every serious issue of the year.
December is seen as a month of celebration, if you agree with me, right from the first day of the month, work tends to go slower, people tend to get concern with other frivolities – some people start planning how to make that journey to their faraway villages to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
Some people start thinking of how to stock up foods and drinks for the celebration, other focus on the clothes for the season.
And there are some of us that start mapping out the people we would visit to enjoy the sweet smelling savor during the festive period.
Well, it is good to celebrate and spend those cash but we have to know that without a proper plan ‘December’ is always like a debt trap that can lead to starting a new year on the wrong foot.
Do not try to impress people by extravagantly spending your eleven months saving just to prove a point, if you do, you will be alone to bear the consequences as everyone will return to a busy mode in January.
The main thing is to plan your self ahead of yuletide, don’t get carried away and don’t get tempted over the fun that is temporary.
