Actress and TV host, Yvonne Okoro, has finally disclosed why she did not show up at the wedding ceremony of rapper Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo despite being his fan and a friend.
Yvonne Okoro who made an appearance on Accra-based Okay FM’s late afternoon show “Ekwanso Dwo Dwo” hosted by talented and indefatigab Abeiku Santana disclosed that, she was astonished by the action of the multiple awards-winning rapper.
When Abeiku Santana noted that, may be Sarkodie intentionally snubbed her due to an alleged intimate relationship he had had with her to avoid any drama.
Miss Okoro debunked such claims saying there has been nothing like that and it’s about time people disregard such ‘Stone age’ assertion.
She explained that the furthest she’s gone with the CEO of SarkCess Music is engaging him in a chat on WhatsApp and that only happens when there’s a news about Sarkodie which calls for wine toasting.
Sarkodie wedded his longtime girlfriend and baby mama Tracy Sarkcess in July 23 this year.
An event which saw close friends, relatives and selected few persons attending.
Fans of the artist who were not happy and felt disrespected the rapper didn’t invited them registered their dismay towards him.
Some threatened never to support his works again adding that he should get his rich friends to attend his shows
However, Sarkodie apologized for his inability to let them all dine with him – and peace returned.
