Presented by entertainment broadcast platform, Soundcity, the Soundcity MVP awards ceremony has held three successful editions consecutively.

To discuss the state of event production in Nigeria and the future of the MVPs, the award’s producer Olamide Adedeji sat with NET music editor, Victor Okpala.




Explaining the vision of the award, Olamide noted that the Soundcity MVP is not a Nigerian award. He explained further that it is a Pan-African award ceremony aimed at honouring the hardest working artistes on the continent.

The producer went on to disclose that in the coming years, the MVP which has so far been hosted only in Nigeria will be hosted in other African countries.
