Actress Joke Silva Loses Younger Sister To Cancer

Bisi Silva, younger sister of Nollywood veteran Joke Silva, is dead.

As reported by PM News, Bisi, who is the founder and Artistic Director of the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Lagos, reportedly died on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.

She passed on around 3:45 p.m in Lagos.

Bisi started CCA in 2007 and later Asiko International Art School in Lagos.

An acclaimed arts collector, Bisi curated numerous important exhibitions in Nigeria, Africa and Europe, including ”Democracy”, Playing with Chance: El Anatsui” and ”J.D. Okhai Ojeikere: Moments of Beauty.”
