With all the STDs out there and the billion other stuff that can put your vagina health at risk, it’s normal to wonder if you’re actually safe. Are you healthy? Do you have something to worry about?
It doesn’t itch
Constant itching is usually a sign that something isn’t right with your v$gina. A lot of things can cause v$ginal itchiness but if you aren’t experiencing this at all, then you’re probably good.
Your discharge is normal
The texture and appearance can change throughout your cycle. But if your v$ginal discharge is clear, cloudy, thin or thick, then you have nothing to worry about.
No funky smell
It’s normal for your v$gina to have a slight odor and only you know what’s typical for your own body. But as long as it doesn’t smell funkier than usual, things are fine.
Pain
Another sign you have a healthy v$gina is if you’re not experiencing any pain. In general, pain is a sign that something is wrong.
Sex is pain-free
Does s$x feel good? Well, then, you’re good to go down there. When you experience extreme pain during sex, it’s usually a dangerous sign and should never be ignored.
Tampons aren’t hard to insert
Such conditions as pelvic prolapse or fibroids can make tampons and menstrual cups difficult to insert. But if you don’t have any issues with this, then you very likely have a healthy vagina.
