Lionel Messi was at it again on today, scoring brace for Barcelona in a 2-0 victory against Espanyol at the Camp Nou.
The first goal which was a brilliant free-kick for his 40th goal of the season:

The second was a low strike after great assist from substitute Malcom to seal the win and move Barca 13 points clear at the top of the table.
It’s incredible consistency from Messi, particularly given he had a month out with a broken arm, as he continues to set all kinds of records with his continued brilliance. See stats below:
