The Nigeria Labour Congress has called on President Buhari to sign the new minimum wage bill as soon as possible as employees were anxious for an increase in salaries.
The National Assembly had sent the bill to President Buhari, who is yet to sign it.
The NLC’s head of information and public affairs, Benson Upah, speaking on Wednesday, 10th of April, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the new minimum wage bill, Independent reports.
He said if the president appended his signature to it this month, workers will start enjoying the benefit from May.
