The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim, has cautioned tertiary establishments in the nation against selecting inadequate alumni in the plan. The DG said the NYSC would boycott any higher foundation observed to be associated with false activation of unfit alumni so as to fill in as an impediment to other people.
The NYSC is getting ready to assemble its Batch B imminent corps individuals by June in the midst of reports from the Ministry of Finance that the month to month stipend paid to the individuals had been expanded to N30,000, which is likewise the new the lowest pay permitted by law.
