Nigeria’s Divine Oduduru named ‘Men’s Track Athlete of The Year’

Nigerian-born star Divine Oduduru has been named the ‘Men’s Track Athlete of the Year’ by the US Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTCCCA).

The 22-year old was named as a co-winner alongside Grant Holloway from the University of Florida.

Oduduru, who is also a student of Texas Tech University announced his plans to pursue a professional career, hence, terminating his senior year at Texas Tech. He referred to that as a ‘tough one.’

He further explained that, Texas Tech is like a home and family to him, therefore leaving it behind to go see the world is a difficult one but also, a choice to make.
