One would not expect such an error from a well-known platform like BET, but nobody is perfect, as they say.
Black Entertainment Television (BET) has made a huge error in an attempt to wish Ghana’s Rap King, Sarkodie, a happy birthday as he celebrates his 34th birthday.
Birthday posts started ‘flowing’ on social media yesterday prior to the artiste’s birthday. By 8am this morning, Sarkodie was the top three trends on Ghana Twitter. Thousands of platforms sent their love and light to the artiste and wished him all the best in life.
However, BET’s attempt was a mistake. They mistakenly posted another Ghanaian rapper – Strongman’s – picture instead of Sarkodie. No one knows what could have possibly happened to cause this serious error.
BET took to their Twitter to make this post.
Strongman Burner who is also one of Ghana’s most prolific rappers is a former signee of Sarkodie’s record label – SarkCess Music. He was recently in the news for having a lyrical beef with his co-rapper, Medikal.
