He was arrested amongst other 21 drivers at East Legon, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. The arrest took place as part of the campaign against indiscipline on roads initiated by the Ghana Police.

According to the Ghana Police, most of the drivers knowingly ignored the road signs, which forced the police to act accordingly.

18 of the arrested drivers have been sent to the East Legon Police Station and are set to face prosecution at the court very soon.

However, the Police Department in general have warned the entire Police Service to desist from breaking traffic rules all in the name of ‘emergency reasons.’
