Nigeria’s previous Vice President and presidential competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his gathering have requested additional time from the five-man Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, to finish up their case.
Friday is the remainder of the ten days dispensed to them to end their case.
Atiku and PDP are testing President Muhammadu Buhari‘s triumph at February 23, 2019 decision.
The candidates, who just on Thursday got from the Independent National Electoral Commission a load of reports to be offered as a display, gave the clue that they would not have the option to close their case on Friday through their legal counsellor Chief Chris Uche (SAN).
Uche framed his solicitation for additional time as “an adjustment of the pre-hearing report” in which 10 days duration was assigned to the applicants to show their case and six days for every one of the respondents to introduce their protection.
