Mobadge’s ‘Euphoria 2019’ is Unveiled

Fashion has always been relevant from time immemorial. Styling is part of fashion that is inspired by so many varying factors.

Originally, clothing was solely meant for covering nakedness. But would it not be unexciting if everyone on the planet wore same clothes for all occasions, gender, race and age. 

Today, though, fashion has taken a new dimension colours, details, design, crafting, embellishments and so on………. 

Creativity has given fashion so much power, such that can lift the spirit, it could be a mood therapy, and can also build confidence. This drove us into fashion and thus birthed “Mobadge Clothings”. 

Our slogan: Fashion and Style highlights our burning passion and urge to redefine the art of sewing. 

Mobadge Clothing’s launched as a brand in 2013 with her head office in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialize in male and female clothing varying from bespoke, couture, custom made, ready to wear, asoebi, suit, shirts and casuals. We also run an academy. 

Recently, we launched our latest collection which we themed – EUPHORIA 2019. 

Of course, we guess you might wonder where that is coming from…. We are delighted to reveal that! Euphoria describes a feeling of great elation, ecstasy and glee. It best describes a high spirit challenges.

To this end, we painstakingly scrutinized every single detail in connection to the collection. From the production to the models and finally the shoot. No wonder the smiles on their faces. That is the kind of joy we would want our clients to feel when they wear our brand. 

 

Each piece has a unique name coined from the inspiration behind the finished products. 

We worked with some specific and selected colours: Colours such as red, blue, burgundy, green, black, gold, cream, etcetera. 

The collection comprises of twelve outfits; eight are male outfits and four female outfits. Let’s briefly discuss some of them. 

 

The VICTORIA VOYAGE: The name denotes the incorporation of the old Victorian era dresses into the modern lady’s outfit. The dress can be rocked as a reception dress. We intentionally hand- picked the colour, Gold, to depict the value and relevance of the dress, giving it class. 

Skin tight and fitted dresses are rapidly dominating, so with this dress, we are trying to create a niche. A dress suitable for ladies of all body shapes! 

DANSHIKI BORDADO: Danshiki is a colourful garment for men worn mostly in West Africa. We decided to reform the conventional dashiki model to a workaday tunic for men of all ages.

It’s our homely expression of ‘Black is Beautiful’ and the embroidery still speats African, preserving its origin.

It has been challenging and adventurous being in the fashion industry and aiming to be and remain relevant. 

Passion has been our driving force because it is a cumbersome task dealing with clients, getting the right fabrics, building designs and collections, organizing, photoshoot, running an academy and managing employees. 

We are getting bitter by the years and we hope to get even better. We look forward to a time when our item would be a must-have and necessary for every wardrobe in Africa and beyond.
