The Senate has affirmed the arrangement of Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed as Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN).
He was affirmed on Wednesday in the wake of screening by Senators, to succeed Justice Walter Onnoghen, who surrendered following some bogus resource announcement.
The Senate, in opposition to the previous guarantee that they would screen him in the open entire, resigned into an official session to do as such.
President Muhammadu Buhari a week ago, mentioned the affirmation of Mohammad as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria, following the suggestion of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
Equity Mohammed was first delegated in January after Buhari suspended Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen, who was blamed for the bogus presentation of advantage.
