Nigeria Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr conceded his players were loose toward the finish of the game when they needed to constrain Algeria into an extra 30 minutes of football in Sunday’s semi-last conflict.

The Super Eagles battled once again from an objective shortfall in the subsequent half to hold Djamel Belmadi’s men to a 1-1 draw until damage time.

Following four extra minutes in stoppage time, Riyad Mahrez rose to the event and scored a free-kick in the last moment of the game to break Nigerian hearts.
