Dropping her eldest son at the Yonsei University in South Korea was American actress and filmmaker Angelina Jolie, who got emotional on the campus University, as her son Maddox begins college.

The multiple award winning actress couldn’t hide her emotions as her oldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt starts college.


18-year-old Maddox is attending Yonsei University in South Korea to study biochemistry, and he was dropped by his mum at the school.

“I leave today, I’m trying not to cry,” the Oscar winner said in the short video, posted to Instagram by user @xx_efu.


Beaming with smiles all over were duo in the photos and videos shared on the account, as Angelina took some time off to chat with his son’s colleagues offering to take pictures with the elated group.

“We’ve been in Seoul — we were also here a little while ago when we first went to Yonsei,” the filmmaker confirmed to a student.

Maddox chose the South Korean campus over all other university after months of US and international campus tours

Angelina also indicated that Maddox, who was homeschooled for his elementary and high school education is currently studying Korean.
