I fight my husband, and that makes the marriage stronger- Veteran Actress Mercy Asiedu

“Getting married to my husband is one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life but we do have issues sometimes. We fight, we really do. And yes, that’s what makes the marriage stronger. We really fight. Sometimes we’d be having visitors in the living room waiting for us, but we’ll be fighting in the bedroom. We will come back to chat with the visitors nicely, as soon as they leave, we continue fighting. You may see us in town looking extremely unbothered all but we fight. After everything, I am the woman, so I calm down and submit myself and obey him as my husband. When he’s super angry, I calm down no matter what.”

She added that, ever since she got married, because of the standard of popularity her marriage has reached, no other man has ever tempted coming to ask her out.

Mercy Asiedu is one of top and most admirable actresses in Ghana whose acting career shot to the top in the early 2000s with Agya Koo, Nana Ama McBrown and the rest.

Being in the movie industry for close to two decades, she can boldly claim to be one of the core people to make what the Ghanaian movie industry is, today.
