Seems Sarkodie has some explanations to do when it comes to his relationship with Shatta Wale.
Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie has revealed that, he made the ‘Advice’ freestyle because he felt the Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale was tarnishing his image at some point.
Last year, Sarkodie released a freestyle video, constantly smashing Shatta Wale through his lyrics, a song he termed as “Advice”.
In a recent interview with the media, Sarkodie revealed why he made that freestyle.
According to him, Shatta Wale was going around saying bad things about him. Initially, he didn’t take it to heart but after some time, he realized the Dancehall artiste was doing all that for publicity stunt.
“First I used to see it as fun but then it got serious to sit on radio and go like you met a fan of mine who said he wanted to take pictures and I said no and I don’t treat my fans well, that’s like, you are trying to turn the people against me” he said.
Months after everything, Shatta Wale bagged a big achievement by getting a Beyoncé feature on ‘The Lion King : The Gift’ album.
Sarkodie took to Twitter to congratulate him but Shatta Wale rubbished him and called him a hypocrite.
