Sensational Ghanaian Singer and Songwriter, Kuami Eugene has made several revelations about his life when he was growing up as an artiste.

Talking to Abeiku Santana on Atuu TV, the multiple High-life artiste award winner announced that, even though he likes his dad and still gives him absolute respect, he cannot mirror the same affection he has for his mum with his dad.

“I really like my dad but I’m just a real person. My dad and I talk every week but the thing is, when I was growing up, my mum was very much in my life more than my dad.



“My dad is a very good man, but he wasn’t understanding why I was provided all the necessities to go to school but I wanted to focus on my music career. So at a point, he didn’t give me that support again, when it comes to me doing music.” He said.

He further explained that, those are some of the things that pushed him to go further.

Kuami Eugene rose to fame after being signed by Lynx Entertainment boss, Richie Mensah, also a Singer and Songwriter. Kuami Eugene has been one of Ghana’s top rising stars and one of the youngest award winning artistes.
