Ghanaian Rapper, Michael Owusu Addo popularly know as Sarkodie has again in an incredible manner expressed his respect and admiration for the legendary rapper, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko known in the showbiz as Obrafour by suggesting him as a course of study alongside him(Sarkodie).
According to VGMA 2019 artiste of the decade, Obrafour has for a long time now proven himself to be the best and that he is worthy as a course to be studied as part of the Junior High School (JHS) curriculum.
This comes after ace music producer Hammer’s list of top 20/50 best emcees of who should be made a course to study in schools came out and made his point that among the numerous rappers, Sarkodie is far gone.
In an interview on Happy FM’s entertainment show [Showbiz Xtra] with Doctar Cann,
the rapper said “Aside from me, Obrafour should be studied as a course. I will choose Obrafour because he is my all-time best. I think he has worked incredibly hard, even though I aspire to do more than him. Obrafour continues to keep his sheet clean over the years. I have always loved him and he is worth studying,”
Obrafour has been tagged as the father of rap in Ghana following his incessant dedication and commitment to the music industry since he was shot to fame in the late 90s and his music life continues to be an example to many up and coming rappers.
