Five-time Ballon D’or Winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has recently talked about his life whiles growing up in Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon.
The Juventus player revealed that, he was happy and ‘moved’ to see some of the people he used to live in the same area with when he was a kid, still living there.
During his visit to his hometown, he went with his son, Cristiano Jr, and the young boy couldn’t believe his eyes.
“I went with Cristiano Jr and we entered the room where I had stayed. My son turned to me and said “Papa, did you live here?” He could not believe it. They think everything is easy in this world. The quality of life, houses, the cars, the clothes… they think that it all falls into the lap. That is what I instil in my son, including when I do events in schools.” Cristiano Ronaldo said in an interview with TVI.
He also added that, he believes that talent alone cannot take a person to where they want to get to, unless they work hard and dedicate themselves to what they really want to do.
