Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has urged the government of Ghana to pay attention to people who are crying out for lack of jobs in the country.
According to the “Already” hitmaker, there are a good number of Ghanaian youths that are unemployed and have nothing doing at home.
In an interview with 3FM’s Giovanni Caleb, the artiste said;
“For me the government should do more. During the 2016 elections, they promised us a whole lot of things but that’s not what we are seeing now. The people had hope in them.”
He further expressed his disappointment in them but hoped that they do more to help eradicate or even reduce unemployment rate in the country.
However, most Ghanaians are of the view that the sitting government have done more than their predecessors when it comes to employment in the country, by introducing a programme called NABCO – Nation Builders Corps – that has helped countless graduates get employed in government agencies.
