Stan Lee’s daughter happy about ‘Spider-Man’ franchise split with Marvel

It seems the daughter of the man who created the superhero character – Spider-Man – is happy about something.

Daughter of the late Marvel Creator (Stan Lee) – Joan Celia Lee, has expressed absolute displeasure about Marvel, adding that it is a good thing that Sony Pictures decided to part ways with them.

Celia Lee claims that, Marvel Studios only care about raking the large amount of the money.

Early on, close sources disclosed that, the Marvel and Sony feud which led to the split was as a result of a 50/50 profit split proposal Marvel studios suggested to Sony when the Superhero movie grossed massively on box office.

According to Celia Lee, the Marvel officials are ‘eating off’ his father’s creation and paying no attention to his family.

“Marvel and Disney seeking total control of my father’s creations must be checked and balanced by others who, while still seeking to profit, have genuine respect for Stan Lee and his legacy.

“Whether it’s Sony or someone else’s, the continued evolution of Stan’s characters and his legacy deserves multiple points of view.

“When my father died, no one from Marvel or Disney reached out to me. From day one, they have commoditized my father’s work and never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency.”

In the end, no one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney’s executives.” She said.
