Spanish side, Athletico Madrid was at the brink of losing to Italys Juventus till the interception of Hector Herrera who came from the bench.
Matiudi made his name into the books just on the 15th-minute after being shown a yellow card.
Juventus’s Juan Cuadrado gave an opening goal to put them on a higher level 48 minutes into the game.
However, the yellow card couldn’t stop Matiudi from doubling the win on the Italian’s side.
A close range header was all Athletico Madrid to secure the first goal, which was kindly delivered by Stefan Savic.
Another header secured an equaliser for the Spanish side. It was none other than Hector Herrera.
