Former Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe, dies at age 95

The longest serving African President has been reported dead in a Singapore hospital, at the age of 95.

The former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, ruled for 37 years.

As the most educated President in the world, he held 7 degrees and 2 masters. He fought deeply against white oppressors and stood by his grounds for years, ruling Zimbabwe.

He once took lands from six thousand white people in Zimbabwe and redistributed it to Zimbabwean citizens.

Mugabe was overthrown during a military coup in 2017 after several complaints from citizens for staying in power for too long.

At the early stages of his tenure in office, he was largely praised for standing for blacks and claiming what’s theirs, but along the line, he was entangled by violence due to the fear of opposition and brought Zimbabwe’s economy into ruins.
