French Montana has always had a soft spot for Africans as he always admits his African roots.
The Rapper who was born in Morocco, moved to the US when he was only 13 years. While facing challenges to learn the English Language when he arrived in America, he did well to build a reputable music career as a rapper.
“I just feel like I came from nothing and I was immigrated to this country. I would have never been ‘French Montana’ if I wasn’t immigrated. I feel like there’s a lot of French Montanas out there.” The Rapper said.
According to the rapper, he wouldn’t have been who he is today if he hadn’t migrated to America with his family to search for greener pastures. He further expressed that, the recent discussions about immigration will not help people whom he was once like, to come seek refuge in America.
“I want to be the perfect example for these young kids that come from Africa, that come from third world countries, that come from places that have no hope and all you have is faith,
“I want to be the face of that. We got to mold that and use this platform to broadcast whatever dreams everybody got.” He told TMZ.
