I will find out why electricity has been a generational problem for Nigeria if I become a President- Actor Ayoola

Lack of consistent electrical power has been a major problem in Nigeria for some years now. So many people have expressed their grievances to the Nigerian government over years, yet, no proper solution has been created for it.

Nigerian Actor-Singer, Ayobami Ayoola, speaking to BBC Pidgin news in an interview revealed that, electricity is one of the most important things he’d look at if he ever gets the opportunity to become the President of Nigeria one day.

The Project Fame West Africa 2012 Winner said;

“If I become a president today, one of the first things I will do is to find out why we don’t get consistent electrical power in Nigeria. It has been like that from my father’s era, to my era, and even if care is not taken, God forbid, my children will have to experience the same drama. So I will surely find out why and what at all is the cause of we not getting consistent electrical power in this country.

“And secondly, there’s a security problem in this country. The people who are governed should be confident enough to admit that yes, the government is behind them when it comes to their security.”

Ayobami Ayoola is a Nollywood actor and singer, best known for winning Project Fame West Africa (2012) before taking a role in the web series “Skinny Girl in Transit.”
