Veteran singer and songwriter has join the list of concerned Nigerians to share their thoughts on the proposed social media bill.
With the country’s national assembly currently debating whether to implement a law that guides people on the use of social media.
Rugged Man via a tweet on his Twitter handle stated that he does not have a problem with the social media bill as long as people tend to post the truth but noted that the Government should be wasting such energy on how to better the lives of the citizens.
He wrote:
As long as the social media bill is to stop people posting falsehood, I dont have a problem with that. As long as we post what is true, we are good. Make dem dey waste energy on that n not increase minimum wage and make policies that will benefit the masses too. #SocialMediaBill
