Comedian AY Celebrates 7.5M Followers On Instagram (Photo)

Nigeria comedian and actor, AY has taken to his Instagram Page to celebrate the new milestone he has achieved on the social media platform with fans.

AY whose real name is Ayo Makun took to the social media platform to celebrate hitting the 7.5 million followers as he becomes one of the most followed celebrities in Nigeria.

The actor and movie producer via the post noted how glad he his to have hit such milestone as he highlighted the total number of followers he has on other social media platforms.

He wrote:

Plus 5.2 Million on Facebook, and 1.2 Million on Twitter = 13.9 Million social media followers Thank you guys for all the love & support

AY is currently receiving massive accolades forntge good work put in his new blockbuster movie, Merry Men 2 which is currently being screened in cinemas across the nation.

The filmaker during a recent interview with Punch newspaper noted his driving force is his desire to put Nigeria on the world map.

He said :
My driving force is my desire to positively put Nigeria on the world map with a new narrative. I want to use my work , both on stage and screen, to draw international attention to the latent creative talents that abound in the country and to give these young talents an opportunity to bloom.

When asked about his proudest moment that lovely father of one said;

I honestly cannot pinpoint one moment as my proudest moment because God has blessed me as a filmmaker .
My first movie got a Guinness World Records ( formerly known as Guinness Book of Records) listing . So far, I have five box office successes . I am sought after by big corporate brands and individuals to do collaborations but I daresay the moments that give me the most pleasure is the feedback I get when people pay their money to watch my movies and enjoy themselves . Nothing beats that.

AY will be hoping his new movie also make the Guinness World Records just like his past projects.
