The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has via a live broadcast announced the disband of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad ( F-SARS).
Ogbomoso Oyo State yesterday during a Peaceful protest to end Sars and also due to
aggressive nationwide and international Protest to end SARS and Police Brutality.
In his press release he ordered every single police officer under the SARs unit to be
redeployed to other Policing Units and the disband is throughout the 36 states of Nigeria.
the IGP also talked about all the new steps which the force will be taking to address issues
of crimes committed by the SARs operative in the county.
