Former Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo has taken to social media to share the memorable moment his mother watched him play live for the first time in his career.
Ighalo’s determination and hard work has seen him play at the highest level representing top clubs like Watford, Udinese and Granda.
He was also the top scorer at the 2019 African Nations Cup where Nigeria had to settle for a third-place finish.
Having played at the highest level for 16 years, Odion Ighalo has not been opportune to have his mother on the pitch whenever he’s doing what he does best.
However, that changed some hours ago when Ighalo took to the pitch to represent his Saudi Arabia club, Al Shabab.
Ighalo’s mother was on the stand from start to finish and the star forward ensured she had a memorable time by scoring a goal.
Not ready to hide his excitement, Ighalo took to social media to reveal how proud he.
Sharing video of his mother in the stands, Ighalo wrote:
